Cremation Services

At C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, we create services that celebrate life, bringing families, friends, and communities together to begin healing.

Cremation offers flexibility. While the process itself remains traditional and respectful, it allows for many ways to remember and honor your loved one. Cremation doesn’t limit choices but expands them, letting families design a meaningful farewell.

Cremation Options

  • Traditional viewing with cremation – This is a traditional funeral ceremony followed by cremation rather than a procession to the cemetery.
  • Memorial visitation after cremation – This service occurs after the cremation has taken place. Often the urn and personal items are present for the service.
  • Memorial service at a location of your choice – We can conduct a memorial service at a church, park, or other venue that has personal meaning for your family.
  • Private family farewell, followed by cremation – This is a small private gathering of immediate family, usually 5 to 10 people, who would like some private goodbye time before the cremation takes place. You can bring a close friend or clergy for this.
  • Burial or interment of ashes – Cremation can take place and be followed by a simple ceremony at the place of burial or interment
  • Simple cremation with no ceremony – Also known as direct cremation, this simply involves us performing the cremation and returning the cremated remains to your family with no ceremony. Families do often have a ceremony at a later date when a family may be gathering for a holiday or other occasion
