Harry J. Keller, 84 of Quakertown died Thursday November 24, 2011 in Belle Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of Lillian E. (Steiner) Keller. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in October. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Charles F. and Elizabeth M. (Insall) Keller. Before his retirement he was a machinist for the US-Gauge Ametek Division in Sellersville where he was employed for 38 years. While at the Gauge he was a member of the AFL-CIO Union and served as a shop steward, delegate and financial secretary. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Quakertown American Legion. Harry was also active with the Quakertown Little League coaching and umpiring for 40 years. A ambulance driver for the former Quakertown Community Hospital for 15 years and a member of the Odd Ones Hunting Club. He was also a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Gregory J. and wife Mary Ellen of Feasterville and Glenn J. and wife Debbie of Quakertown. A brother Joseph of Harrisburg and sister Mary Cain of Perkasie. Three grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie and Jacob. A great grandchild Justice Elaine. He was predeceased by a grandson Aaron a brother Charles and three sisters Elizabeth, Rose and Ida Mae. Services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Thursday December 1, 2011 in the C. R.
