Eugene Henry Hauck, 93, of Trumbauersville died Thursday, December 8, 2005 in Grand View Hospital West Rockhill Twsp. He was the husband of Kathryn Stump of Trumbauersville for 14 years in November and the late Sally (Leister) Hauck. Born in Green Lane he was the son of the late Edgar & Emma (Bettinger) Hauck. Before retiring he was a woodworker for Frederick Brothers in Pottstown. Prior to that he worked for the Perkiomenville Lumber Yard in Perkiomenville. Eugene was a 1930 graduate of East Greenville High School where he had a 12 year perfect attendance record. He was an ambulance driver for 20 years for the former Green Lane Ambulance, and was a 46 year member of the Green Lane-Marlboro Lions Club where he served as secretary for 16 years and was also past president and he received the Melvin Jones award. He was a U.S. Army Veteran Serving during WW II. In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister Sarah Kraft of Red Hill. Three step-daughters Mary wife of Larry Lederer, Grace wife of Donald Morris and Ruth Ann wife of William Kiesel. Four step-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers Lester, Arthur, Roger, Kenneth and a sister Barbara. Services will be held on Tuesday December 13, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Monday evening 7:00-8:30 P.M. and Tuesday 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
