David Alfred Patten

Obituary David Alfred Patten, 82, of Quakertown formerly of Bardonia, New York died September 20, 2022, in his home. He was the husband of Iris (Hernandez) Patten. They would have been married 56 years on October 22, 2022. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Joseph & Carmela (Trimboli) Patten. He was a Principal Public Utility Auditor for the Public Service Commission for the state of New York before retiring in 1995. He was active with the Christian Family Movement and the Marriage Encounter Program. David was a "Gamer" and enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was an Avid Yankees fan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Limeport, PA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son David Patten (Amy); two daughters Diane Higgins, & Dawn Viola (Jason). Nine grandchildren Kristina, Kimberly, Damian, Max, Samantha, Alex, Raphael, Anders, & Rocco. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Anthonys Church 36 W. Nyack Rd. Nanuet, New York 10954. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
