Zelma Jansons, 101 of Montgomeryville died Saturday January 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late Richards Jansons. She was born in Riga, Latvia. She was employed by the former Philco Ford in Lansdale before her retirement in 1981. Zelma was a former member of the Latvian Lutheran Church of Bucks County and Vincinity. She was also a member of the United Auto Workers. She enjoyed going to the casinos, baking and her flower gardens. Zelma is survived by a son Bob (Barb) of Harleysville. Five grandchildren, Dawn Bryant (Sean) of Kent County, DE, Wendy Jansons (Wendy Tharp) of Sellersville, Sharin Shanks (Jason) of Souderton, Jason Barnes (Jennifer) of Hellertown and Jessica Gouck of Lansdale. Ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951. Interment will follow in Quakertown Union Cemetery.
