Willie H. VanBrackle, Jr., 61 of Quakertown formerly of Easton died Saturday July 26, 2008 in St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was the husband of Kathy R. (Hart) VanBrackle. He was a mail carrier for the Easton Post Office before retiring in 2004. He was the son of Willie H., Sr. and Irene (VanHorn) VanBrackle. Willie was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Easton American Legion. He was Past Master of the Dallas - Lafayette #399 F&AM in Easton and a Scout Master of Troop 74 in Wrightstown, PA. Willie was also a member of the Delaware Valley German Shepherd Dog Club. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by a son Sr. Airman Willie H.E. VanBrackle of Holloman AFB, three daughters Leanne wife of Karl Menear of Sciota, Victoria wife of William Levens of Bangor and Angela VanBrackle of Coatesville. Two brothers Joseph and wife Sue of Northampton and Richard and wife Joyce of Caryville, TN two sisters Carol Volkert of Macungie and companion Dennis Hill and Mary Jane Piersa of Wind Gap and companion John Fulcineli. Nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951.
