William L. Boyd, 77 of Quakertown died Sunday December 6, 2009 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Joan K. (Weikert) Boyd. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary in October. Born in Norristown he was the son of the late William and Thelma (Printz) Boyd. After 42 years of service William retired in 1994 as a supervisor from Visteon Ford Electronics in Lansdale. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown where he also served as a usher. He was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Sabrina Wenhold and Patricia DiFrancesco both of Quakertown and William J. and his wife Lisa of East Greenville. Four grandchildren, Krista, Rachel, Rebecca and Linsey and four great grandchildren, Jaden, Gavin, Chase and Mareya. Services will be held on Wednesday December 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R.
