William L. Miller, 88, of Springfield Twsp., formerly of Quakertown died Thursday, January 12, 2006 in LifeQuest Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Florence R. (Drasher) Miller. Born in Hazelton he was the son of the late Arthur & Mary (Diehl) Miller. Prior to his retirement in 1979 he and his late wife owned and operated Millers Taxi in Quakertown. He was a former member of the North Penn Gun Club in Quakertown and the Richlandtown Snow Runners. He attended Springfield Mennonite Church in Pleasant Valley. He is survived by a son William C. of Springfield Twsp.. Five grandchildren Mark Miller, Kay Modzel, Brad Miller, Kim Metzger, & Chad Miller. 5 great grandchildren Brandi, Erika, Geffen, Isabel, & Jordan. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
