William I. Kear, 77, of Quakertown formerly of Bethlehem died Thursday, March 30, 2006 in his home. He was the husband of Vesta J. (Solomon) Kear. They would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on April 3. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA he was the son of the late George E. & Mary (Everett) Kear. He was employed for 27 years by Stewart Infrared Commissary in Allentown last serving as Vice President and General Manager before retiring. He was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Quakertown He was an avid reader of spy novels. Bill also enjoyed furniture restoration including projects such as Emmanuel's church altar, grand piano and several other small furnishings. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters April E. Kear of Sellersville, Neva Kear of Allentown and Kristen L. wife of John Andrews of Dallas, PA. A son Kevin A. Kear and his wife Joanne of Mertztown. Six grandchildren Christopher Kroninger, Daniel Kroninger, Lt. Jacob Ring, Benjamin Ring, Rebecca Andrews, and John William Andrews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church 560 S. Main St., Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
