William Henry Booth, Jr., 83, of Green Lane formerly of Wilkes Barre died May 22, 2017 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ellen (Thompson) Booth. Born in West Wyoming he was the son of the late William Henry, Sr. & Dorothy (Feldman) Booth. He was a machinist before retiring in 1993 after 42 years of service with the former Leed & Northrup in North Wales. He was a member of the UAW local #1350 He became a member of the Domain of the Golden Dragon on January 13, 1954. William enjoyed working on cars with his sons and attending craft shows with his late wife. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He attended Quakertown United Methodist Church in Quakertown. He is survived by his children Edward (Cindy) of Quakertown, Linda Fetzer (Mark) of Perkasie, Susan Swope (William) of Quakertown, and David (Linda Nicholas) of Catawissa. Four grandchildren Thomas, Victoria, Sarah, and Tyler. Services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
