Wanda Jean Ruggiero

Wanda Jean Ruggiero, 55 of Quakertown died Friday February 3, 2017. She was the wife of John Schaffer. Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Herman Koehler and the late JoAnn (Keeler) Kunsman. She was last employed as a dietary aid at Independence Court in Quakertown, prior to that she worked for Grand View Hospital and Ridge Crest. Wanda enjoyed cooking and baking but her real joy was her family especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband she is survived by her three sons Michael Ruggiero, Brenton Schaffer (Courtney) and Adam Schaffer. Two grandchildren Karli Rose Schaffer and Elly Jean Schaffer. Two brothers Herman Koehler, Jr. (Diane) and Brian Koehler and a sister Diane Foglio (Luke). A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 9, at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951.
