Walter D. Mundy, 84, of Quakertown died May 26, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of Doris (Beidler) Mundy. Born in Richland Township, Bucks County he was the son of the late Raymond & Elsie (Kramer) Mundy. He retired in 1991 after 38 years of service for the former W. R. Grace Co., in Quakertown. Walter was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Richlandtown where he was a member of the churches Senior group and a former usher. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Patricia Gerstenberg (Robert) of Quakertown. Two brothers Charles of North Wales, and Richard (Nancy) of Gilbertsville, four sisters Florence Afflerbach, Doris Neiman, Eleanor Nace (Richard) all of Quakertown, and Barbara "Mae" Afflerbach of Palmyra. Three grandchildren David, Kevin, and Keith Gerstenberg, and five great grandchildren Jayden, Kaylie, Cadence, Kasey, & Mason. Predeceased by two brothers Raymond, Jr., and Harold, and a sister Marguerite Hackman. Services will be held on Saturday May 31, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Johns Lutheran Church 4 S.
