Vivian I. Foulke

Vivian Ida "Mease" Foulke, the wind beneath our wings, left this world on December 5th, 2016 to forge a path for us to follow one day. Born to her beloved parents George and Ada Mease in Wyndmoor, PA. Raised amongst a lively, loving family which included brothers Leroy, George, Robert and her cherished sister Margaret. As a young woman she met the love of her life, Guy Foulke. Together they embarked on a lifelong journey, which was admired by many for the strength of their love and commitment. Together they had three sons Guy, Rex and Kurt (wife Linda) and three daughters, Susan Serrill, Lori Vivian and Kelly Foulke. Blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many treasured family members and friends. Her home has always been Quakertown, which she loved, yet her luminous spark traveled the world reaching the hearts of many. Always ready for an adventure, her signature trademarks included kindness, playful mischief, singing, dancing, and helping others to see the magic in life. In doing so, she inspired us to remain hopeful, enjoy laughter and embrace gratitude. A true maverick, she was the lead in plays, took aerobics, rode rickshaws in Thailand, hula danced in Hawaii, climbed the pyramids of Egypt, yet remained humble and grateful for a walk in nature thru Campbells and opened her home to all. Her love had no boundaries, this being her greatest legacy, continues in all those warmed by her Miss America smile. Services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951. Call Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
