Virginia 'Gini' Pitcher

Virginia "Gini" Pitcher, 84, of Telford formerly of Warminster died August 28, 2016 at the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the wife of the late Ted J. Pitcher. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Paul & Elizabeth (Allen) Strang. She was a volunteer at Centennial School District reading to students at various schools, she loved all animals and was also a volunteer at the Bucks County SPCA and a volunteer at the VNA of Abington. Gini loved traveling especially going to the shore and enjoying the ocean. She also loved gardening, gourmet cooking and was an avid reader. She is survived by a daughter Laura Sykes and her husband Tim of Perkasie. A sister Janet McCormack and her husband Bill of Brewster, MA, two grandchildren Timothy and Allison. Many nieces and nephews and her grand dog Finnigan. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
