Violet V. Nace, 86, of Allentown died April 28, 2011 in her home. Born in Milford Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles F. & Elsie E. (Knott) Henze. After 30 years of service she retired in 1994 from the former Graystone Upholster in Allentown Violet enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and baking. She also loved music and travel. She is survived by her children Janet Schlitz (Robert), Mary Ann Kline (Leroy), Larry H, Nace (Pat), Diana N. Greenwald (Bruce), and Karen L. Kassis. A brother Leroy, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. One niece and one nephew. She was predeceased by a sister Ethel Hoff and long time companion William Scherer. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crrstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 9:30-10:30 in the funeral home.
