Violet S. Henninger, 77, of Coopersburg died October 17, 2010 in Valley Manor Nursing & Rehab Center, Coopersburg. She was the wife of the late Howard Henninger. Born in Milford Twp., Bucks County she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Ella Keiser. She was a nurse's aide for Valley Manor Nursing and Rehab Center before retiring. Prior to that she was an elementary teacher for the Quakertown Community School District and also did Missionary work in Columbia. Violet was a lifetime member of West Swamp Mennonite Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, caregiver and a member of the church quilters. She enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii and the Holy Lands. She is survived by a brother Arthur of Philadelphia, a sister-in-law Mildred Kunkle of Coopersburg. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her pet dog Spot. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at West Swamp Mennonite Church 2501 Allentown Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of arrangements.
