Viola E. Ackerman, 85 of Coopersburg died December 25, 2009 in Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Willis R. Ackerman. Born in Shelly she was the daughter of the late Henry, Sr. and Clara (Erney) Huhn. Before her retirement she worked for the former Eagle Shirt Co. and the former Star Systems. Viola was a member of Chestnut Hill Church in Coopersburg. She is survived by a sister Minnie Funk and two brothers Richard Huhn, Sr. and Henry Huhn, Jr. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Rd., Coopersburg PA 18036.
