Victor E. Berkebile, 83, of Quakertown died December 30, 2011 in his home. He was the husband of the late Arlene A. (Shaulis) Berkebile. Born in Kantner, PA he was the son of the late Steward & Nora (Pletcher) Berkebile. He was a heavy machine operator for Miller and Son Paving in Warminster before retirement. He was a member of the Operating Engineers International Union Local 542 in Fort Washington. Victor was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Perkasie. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by two sons, Randy E. of Center Valley, and Rev. Donald R. and his wife Brenda of Quakertown, a daughter Rhonda L. Long and her husband Daniel W. of Hatfield. Two brothers Ceylon and Ralph. Eight grandchildren Kyle, Heidi, Adam, Amber, James, Jessica, Jeremy, and Jennifer and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson Aaron. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
