Valerie M. Roberts

Valerie "Val" M. Roberts, 59, of Quakertown died April 24, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twsp. She was the wife of Kurtis M. Roberts. They were married 25 years this month. Born in Doylestown she was the daughter of Theodore & Jane (Gangloff) Malecki of New Britain She was last employed as a coordinator for the Success Rehabilitation. Prior to that she was a learning support math teacher with the Quakertown Community School District. She was a founding member of Kappa Alpha Tau later she was president of Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority at Millersville University. Val was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ottsville. In addition to her parents and husband she is survived by two sons Kurtis M., Jr. and his fianc Courtnie Young, and Matthew J. both at home. Two brothers Mark Malecki (Diane) and Michael Malecki (Nancy), two sisters Kathy Mock (Bob), and Teri Van Horn (Bill). A sister in law Joann Malecki. Predeceased by a brother Ted. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 1:00-4:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
