Thomas J. Petko, Sr., 80 of Quakertown died Monday November 22, 2010 in his home. He was the husband of Helen A. (Pavelko) Petko. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on September 29th. Born in Czechoslovakia he was the son of the late Thomas M. and Susan (Kacmar) Petko. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ottsville. Thomas was also a 3rd degree Knight with the Cardinal Stritch #4649 K of C in Quakertown. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by five children, Catherine Norman and husband Rick of Chalfont, Thomas J., Jr. and wife Becky of Quakertown, Sue Hall and husband Cliff of Quakertown, Maryann Donohue and husband Dave of Kintnersville and David J. and wife Stephanie of Monroe, NY. Eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 26, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 4050 Durham Rd. Ottsville, PA 18942.
