Obituary Thomas J. Blase, 68, of Ottsville died January 21, 2018 in his home. He was the husband of the late Janet (Edwards) Blase. Born in Abington, PA he was the son of the late George F. & Lillian T. (Koons) Blase. He was a retired Auto Body Technician. He loved trains and was a collector of Pre War Lionel Trains. He was a long time member of Trains Collectors Association. Thomas also enjoyed gardening and Bonsai Trees. He is survived by a son Thomas E. (Lisa) of Perkasie a daughter Teresa M. Rushton of Philadelphia. Two brothers Joseph Blase of Warminster and Robert Blase of Ottsville. Four sisters Barbara Preston of Quakertown, Georgine Mills of Davisburg, MI, Rosemary Frum of Hatboro, and Elizabeth Nelson of Springfield, VA. Four grandchildren Thomas, Nicholas, Ashley & Samantha and four great grandchildren Thomas, Jimmy, Samantha, & Emilio. Predeceased by a brother James. A memorial service will held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 1:00-2:00 P.M.
