Stella M. Keefer, 97, of Telford formerly of Quakertown died May 1, 2011 in her home. She was the wife of the late George C. Keefer. Born in Salladasburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Aaron & Mabel (Watts) Hamilton. She was a member of Mary, Mother of Redeemer Catholic Church in North Wales. Stella is survived by a son George A. Keefer and his wife Janice of Quakertown; a daughter Virginia L. Keefer of Telford; daughter in law Sandra Keefer of Quakertown. Six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Joseph Paul Keefer, five brothers, John, Charles, Clarence, Thomas, and William and three sisters Hazel, Mary and Frances. "Maggie's" celebration of new life will be held at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church 1325 Upper State Rd. North Wales, PA 19454 on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Calling hour will be 9:00-10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Interment will take place at Montoursville Cemetery, East Broad St. Montoursville, PA 17754 with graveside services at 3:00 P.M., graciously provided by Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Montoursville, Pa. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA 19 East Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428. (Maggie had a true love for animals in need).
