Obituary Stanley H. Benner, 90, of Quakertown formerly of Richlandtown died September 18, 2021 in St. Lukes University Hospital. He was the husband of Rhea L. (Shinn) Benner. They were married 66 years last January. Born in Richlandtown, Pa he was the son of the late Raymond F. & Lydiann (Huber) Benner. Before retiring he was a heavy equipment operator for various area construction companies. Prior to that he was the proprietor of Benner Excavating. He was a lifetime member of the Richlandtown Fire Company where he was a former Assistant Chief and an honorary member of West End Fire Company. Stanley enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richlandtown. He was a U.S. Marines Veteran serving during the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of the VFW John Rivers Post #11322 in Quakertown In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Denise Kandel and her husband Jeff of Quakertown and Susan Laudenslager and her husband Rodney of Watertown, Wisconsin. Six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his seven siblings Blanche, Anne, Elda, Raymond, Norman, Jenny, and Emma. Services are private.
