Richard "Dick" Fadeley, Sr., man of honor, man of truth, man of God, 87, of Quakertown died August 1, 2011 in Greenleaf Nursing Home, Doylestown. He was the husband of Jeannette (Czaplicki-Muhr) Fadeley. He was born in Ambler, Pa. He was the director of transportation for Amtrak in Philadelphia retiring in 1979 to become a full time minister for the Jehovah's Witnesses which lead to his motto "Never turn down an assignment". Dick was a graduate of North Wales High School and president of his class, he also graduated from a Business School in Philadelphia and was also a graduate of Kings Point U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Long Island, NY. Dick served as a 3rd Engineer on Liberty Ships during WW II. He was a member of the Quakertown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses serving as an elder. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Richard, II (Nancy), Mark (Melonie), a step-son David Muhr (Wendy), and two step daughters Andrea Perry (James) and Dawn Greenawalt (James). One grandson Richard, III (Roxanne), and two great grandchildren Garett & Micah. A memorial talk will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1000 Doylestown Pike, Quakertown. Arrangements by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
