Shirley M. Lengyel, 73, of Pennsburg formerly of Quakertown died Thursday, September 11, 2008 in Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late John W. Lengyel. Born in Spinnerstown she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Arlene (Hillegas) Weirback. She was last employed in the shipping and receiving department at the former Artisitic Glass Products in Trumbauersville, prior to that she was a machine operator at the former Dudley Sports, Swan Lee and Hilltop sewing factories. She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown. Shirley is survived by four daughters Debra Hottenstein and her husband Herbert, Jr. and Roxanne Stout and her husband Leslie both of Allentown, Rosemarie Mitchel and her husband Harry and Chastidy Knauer both of Quakertown. 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Curtis. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
