Scott D. Silver

Scott D. Silver, 41, of Perkasie died July 17, 2011 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Washington, D.C. he was the son of Dennis Silver of Vero Beach, Florida, and Jeanne Hofmann of Perkaise. Scott was an avid soccer player and a soccer coach in many youth leagues. He also enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and jamming with his friends. He also was a Grateful Dead follower. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Perkasie. In addition to his parents he is survived by a son Kyle and a daughter Becca both of Perkasie. Two sisters Wendy Mercaldo and her husband Hank of Rosemont, PA and Melissa Silver of Vero Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his father's wife Pat and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA. Calling hours will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
