Ruth Wenhold, Milford Square, formerly of Abington, died Friday, September 22, 2006 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was 91. Together with her husband, Earlin J. Wenhold, they celebrated 43 years of marriage this past May. Born in Newtown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Margaret (Fetter) Tomlinson. Ruth was a 1938 graduate of the former Grand View Nursing School. Prior to her retirement in 1977, she worked as a private duty nurse. She was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ in Spinnerstown. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Dr. Thomas Greisamer of Tocoma, Washington; a step-daughter Ilene Balliet of Quakertown; a brother Clarence Tomlinson of Doylestown; a sister Mabel Curry of Forksville, PA; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ Spinnerstown and County Line Rd., Spinnerstown.
