Ruth M. Johnson, 91, of Quakertown died January 30, 2013 in Quakertown Center Genesis Health Care. She was the wife of the late Raymond Johnson. Born in Richlandtown she was the daughter of the late George & Lulu Koehler. Before retiring she owned and operated the former Ruth's Beauty Shop in Quakertown. Ruth enjoyed crafts, gardening, and caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church (Kellers Church) in Perkasie. She is survived by a son Michael J. (Rosanne) of Quakertown and a daughter Nancy L. Sanders of Doylestown. Two sister in laws Esther Peischel and Minnie Scholl (John). Five grandchildren Jay Sanders (Stephanie), Joshua Sanders (Kelly), Evan Johnson, Sean Johnson, and Caitlin Johnson. One great granddaughter Grayson Sanders. Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
