Ruth Irene Clemmer, 87, of Quakertown died February 18, 2013 in Independence Court, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Clemmer. Born in Richland Twsp she was the daughter of the late LeRoy & Viola (Etter) Kooker. She was last employed by the former Ken's Chicken Den of Quakertown. Prior to that she worked for Longacre Poultry of Franconia and various clothing factories. Ruth was a member of the Quakertown American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown. She is survived by a daughter Deborah L. Nace and her husband Gary O. of Quakertown. A brother Charles and his wife Elaine and a sister Grace Strunk all of Quakertown. Two grandchildren Trevor of Lansdale and Travis and his wife Helen of Fairfax, Virginia. She was predeceased by four brothers Donald, Robert, LeRoy, Raymond and a sister Dorothy Diehl. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church 102 N. Hellertown Ave. Quakertown, PA 18951. There will be no calling hours.
