Rudolph Myles Bruder, Sellersville, died April 27th in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. He was 83. He was the husband of Doris (Butterwick) Bruder, his wife of 56 years. Born in Wyndmoor, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph E. and Helen (Maher) Bruder. Prior to his retirement, Rudolph worked as a machinist for Drexel Industries in Horsham. Rudolph was a member of the VFW Post #245 in Sellersville, American Legion Post 255 of Sellersville, and the North Penn Gun Club. He was a proud Penn State fan and a volunteer member of the Wissahickon Fire Company in Ambler for many years. Rudolph enjoyed woodworking and fishing. The countless stories he told will live on for many years to come. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons - Thomas J. of Sellersville and Mark S. and his wife Diane of Argus; a daughter Jenny L. of Boyertown and four grandchildren - Amy L., Leah, Garrett, and Stephan. He was predeceased by a daughter Robin I., a sister Anna, and a brother Dan. Services will be private and at the family's request. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
