Rose Oxenford, 78, of Quakertown died November 12, 2009 in her home. She was the wife of the late Albert F. Oxenford. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Michael E. & Catherine (Taylor) White. She retired in 2000 as a registered nurse for Belle Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown after 17 years of service. Prior to that she worked 12 years for the former Quakertown Community Hospital. Rose was a member of the Kings County Hospital Center School of Nursing Alumni Association and she also enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling and for the last 3 years she was a volunteer at St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown. She is survived by three sons Charles and his wife Laurie of Quakertown, Michael and his wife Lynn of Hatfield, and David and his wife Pam of Coopersburg. Three daughters Therese "Teri" Loew and her husband Joseph of Coopersburg, Linda Nohejl and her husband Russell of Stroudsburg, and Rosalie Karcher and her husband Patrick of Quakertown. Two sisters Catherine Heiner of Bergenfield, NJ. Veronica Guicciardini of Holtzville, LI. Twenty one grandchildren, two great granddaughters. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Sarah Loew and a great granddaughter Eva Plawa. A mass will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W.
