Rose E. Weber, 88, of Quakertown died January 12, 2016 in St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late James A. Weber, Sr. Born in Allentown, PA she was the daughter of the late Edwin & Agatha (Herman) Royer. She retired in 2012 after 20 years in the housekeeping department at Independence Court in Quakertown. She was an avid letter writer and reader and was known to many as the 'Card Lady'. She also volunteered at Independence Court. Rose was a member of Locust Valley Chapel in Coopersburg. She is survived by her children Richard J. (Sharon), Ann Hafler (Charlie), Susan MacKinnon (Howard), James A., Jr. (Tina), Michael T. (Jan), David A. (Judy), and Christopher J. A brother Raymond Royer (Janet). 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Predecased by a brother Peter Royer and a sister Dorothy Acree. Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Locust Valley Chapel 5936 Locust Valley Rd. Coopersburg, PA 18036.
