Ronald Dale Hallowell, 79 of Coopersburg died August 6, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Martha V. (Bast) Hallowell. They were married 61 years last October. Born in Milford Township he was the son of the late Walter J. Hallowell & Frances (Roth) Krammer. He was also the step-son of the late Ernest Krammer. He was a life member of Coopersburg Fire Company and a life member of the Coopersburg Lions Club. Ronald was Haaptmon of the "Grundsow Lodsch Nummer Fortzay" (President of Groundhog Lodge#14). He was an avid Phillies Fan and NASCAR fan. He was a member of St. Johns UCC in Coopersburg. "Pop" had a fierce love for all of his grandchildren, his world revolved around them. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons Alan (Barbara), Darren, and Chris (Theresa). A brother Walter Hallowell (Marie), a sister Nancy McKinney (Mac). Five grandchildren Sandi Yaich, Kelly Hallowell, Matthew Hallowell, Jeniffer Hallowell, and Christopher Hallowell. He is also survived by his Aunt Elsie Wolonick and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Krammer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Johns UCC 538 Thomas Street Coopersburg, PA 18036.
