Ronald D. Schnable, Sr.

Ronald D. Schnable, Sr. 79, of Sellersville died April 24, 2014 in Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Roberts) Schnable. They were married 58 years last November. Born in Sellersville he was the son of the late Howard C. & Dorothea M. (Fitzgerald) Schnable. He retired in 2001as a truck driver for Indian Valley Bulk Carriers in Tylersport. He was a member of the Great Swamp Fish and Game. Ronald also was a former dirt track stock car racer. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Shyrl Rest (Charles) of Tylersport, Ronald D., Jr. (Rene) of Telford, Robin Edwards (Christopher) of Zionsville, and Lori Troxell (Alvin) of Perkasie. Eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
