Robert G. Freeman, 86, of Pipersville formerly of Palm Bay Florida and New Jersey died August 13, 2009 in Doylestown Hospital. He was the loving husband of Antoinette (Caputo) Freeman. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on January 8, 2009. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Robert G. & Myrtle (Osborn) Freeman. He was a Sales Executive for Anthony Pools retiring in 1983. Prior to that he was an executive for Sylvan Pools. Robert enjoyed playing poker and blackjack and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and flying small airplanes. He was an avid reader of current events and enjoyed listening to classical music. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran serving during WW II where he was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the Meritorious Unit Award. He was a member of Our Lady of Victories Church in New Jersey. In addition to his loving wife, he is the loving father of Robert G. and his wife Kathleen of Wall, NJ, Stephen K. and his wife Sandra Wonsidler of Pipersville, and Deborah A. Pinto and her husband Rolando of Philadelphia. He was the loving grandfather of Aaron, Jesica, Justin, Sarah, Daniel, Anthony, Chelsea, Andrew, Kevin, and Jacob. Also a loving great grandfather of Anna, Benjamin, Isabella, and Riley. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
