Robert Frederick of Quakertown passed away on Friday July 29, 2016. He was 90 years old. He was married to Jennie for 66 years until her passing earlier this year. Bob was born in Telford, the second of eleven children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Frederick, Sr. and Florence, and a son, David. He is survived by sons Robert, Jr. (Kathleen) of Goodyear, Arizona and Richard Ferrara (Christine) of Sacramento, California, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and siblings Mark Frederick, Jr., Glenn Frederick, Ernie Frederick, Carl Frederick, Ethel Galluppi, Stella Smith, Betty Heliger. During World War II, Bob joined the Navy and was stationed at Key West, Florida. He was an employee of Rock Hill Quarry for 37 years. In his retirement years as a member of the Blue Mountain Antique Gas and Steam Engine Association, Bob was renowned for his expertise in building and restoring antique gasoline farm engines. Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a charity of ones choice.
