Robert E. Allen, Jr.

Robert E. Allen, Jr., "Bob" 75 of Quakertown, Springfield Township formerly of Pittstown, NJ passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 in his home. He was the husband of the late Christina Nemeth and the son of the late Robert E., Sr. and Marian (Latourette) Allen. Bob owned and managed R.S.B. Industrial Services a full service electrical and mechanical contractor, control systems and silo repair company. Bob graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in 1960 and then attended Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales in Center Valley, PA. In addition, Bob received several Certificates of Completion and Training, including the National Fire Academy Field Course in 1990, Radiological Emergency Response Training Course in 1990, Gould Modicon Division Basic Programable Controller Certificate and Managing DOS from BMI Softwares Computer Learning Institute in 1992. Bob was also nominated and received the "Excellence Award" from Hobbie Personnel Services for his commitment to quality in October 1996. He was an Eagle Scout receiving the God and Country Award. Bob served our Country as a Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War in Alaska. He received an Honorable Discharge in March of 1970. He was musically talented and loved to sing, play drums and guitar. He also enjoyed photography, gardening and he loved the outdoors and nature. He is survived by three daughters, Cassandra Moriarty (John) and Liese Leonard (Lee) both of Collierville, TN and Jennie Rebecca Putnam of Goose Creek, SC. Two sisters Andrea Gordon and Pamela Bauer both of SC. Eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date at the request of the family.
