Robert A. Stevens

Robert Allaire Stevens of Quakertown, PA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday January 4, 2010. He was 43 years old. One of God's precious angels here on earth got his halo polished. Robert was born in Philadelphia and was the son of Marilyn and Robert E. Stevens of New Britain, PA. He attended school through the Bucks County Intermediate unit, attended Easter Seals' Summer Camp and had been a participant in the LifePath Adult Day Program in Sellersville. For the past 19 years Robert has resided in Beaver Run Village where he shared a home with his friend and living companion, Susan Mitchell. Robert loved his home in Beaver Run Village and the many friends and neighbors that came to know and love him over the years. Robert enjoyed shopping, going to restaurants and spending time with his family and friends. But most of all Robert loved to travel and had visited 29 US states and traveled through 4 different countries. Robert's greatest travel accomplishments include standing on the summit of Pike's Peak, traveling through Alaska, and swimming with dolphins in the Bahamas. Robert is survived by his sister Laura, his brother in law Ignacio, of Doylestown, several aunts and uncles, and 12 cousins . He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents. Robert will also be missed and remembered by his many friends and neighbors and he leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, generosity and joy that inspires us all to be better people. A Memorial service will be held on Friday January 8, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown . Call 3:00-4:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Anyone who wishes to join in the sharing of stories and memories of Robert is welcome to attend.
