Richard E. Shearer, 59 of Zionsville died Friday June 3, 2016 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Quakertown he was the son of Shirley M. (Weaver) Shearer of Coopersburg and the late Elmer F. Shearer. He was a pipe fitter and welder. Richard was a life time member of Ridge Valley Gun Club the NRA and the PA Trappers Association. He was also a member of Camp Savage in Dingmans Ferry. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter Christine Stoudt (Douglas) of Quakertown his companion Bonnie Raab of Zionsville, three sisters Deborah Ann Kline (Kenny) of Quakertown, Luann McCarthy (Pete) of Trumbauersville and Donna Marie Vogel (Bruce) of Emmaus. A grandson Austin and six nieces, four great nieces and one great nephew. He was predeceased by two nephews. Graveside services at Zion Hill Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
