Richard Donald Bergman of Quakertown, PA. passed away peacefully on July 19, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born July 30, 1930 in West Lawn, PA. Richard was the son of the late William and Margaretha "Peg" Bergman. He served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1951. He was a truck driver and a member of the American Legion, Post 242. He loved classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. Survivors; Wife Jenny, Daughter Susan Clarke, 3 Sons; Jon & Keith of Quakertown, Richard W. (Companion Shirley) of Sellersville. 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, Sisters; Barbara Krchnavi (Joe) of Allentown, Nancy Malander-Wenhold (Cliff) of Spinnerstown and many nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends especially Eddie, Bonky and Paul. He was predeceased by a Sister Vivian Brown of Texas and Grandsons; Jason Roeder and Nathan of Quakertown. Services; August 1, 2015, Visitation 1-2PM, Memorial Service 2-3PM at C.R. Strunk Funeral Home in Quakertown PA. Contributions; In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospital in Memory of Richard.
