Ricahrd C. Schaffer

Richard Clark Schaffer, son of Earl and Leona Schaffer, was born November 14th 1948 and died August 15th 2017. He is survived by a wife, three sons, two granddaughters, two brothers and a sister. Rich as he was commonly called, graduated from Quakertown HS. in 1967. He enlisted in the Navy and spent two years aboard the USS. Albany. Rich had many friends and was well liked by everyone! He had a great sense of humor that never seemed to leave him.He could be seen hanging out at 7 Eleven and Turkey Hill stores in Richlandtown and Hellertown. Richard worked at Olean Tile for many years until they went out of business, briefly at Perkasie Industries, and lastly at Just Born Candy Co. until his retirement in 2007. Rich liked to play cards, board games, and do word puzzles. He also liked to attend services at Northampton AG. Church when his health would permit. Rich will be missed by all! .
