Raymond H. Heimbach, 92 of Quakertown passed away November 28, 2012 at GrandView Hospital, Sellersville. He was the loving husband of Hattie Mae "Peggy" (Brader) Heimbach, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Howard and Mabel (Rosenberger) Heimbach. Farming was Ray's passion, as he was a life-long farmer in Milford Township where he owned and operated the family farm with his brother Paul. His other enjoyments were his vegetable garden, playing cards with friends and family, traveling and hunting. He was a life-long member of West Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown where he served as a trustee and was on the church cemetery committee. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to his loving wife Peggy he is survived by a daughter Barbara Davis and her husband Stephen of Riegelsville, a son in law Earl Rodenberger of Green Lane. Two brothers Ralph and wife Bea, Paul and wife Marian both of Quakertown, two sisters Mary Ames and husband Vince of Red Lodge, MT and Gladys Hamilton and husband Jim of Coopersburg. Seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Cheryl Rodenberger. Services will be held on Monday December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Rd. Quakertown PA 18951. Call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the church.
