Raymond B. Hammersten, Jr., 70, of Emmaus formerly of Easton died December 31, 2013 in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Piazza) Hammersten. Born in Bangor, PA he was the son of the late Raymond B., Sr. & Ann P. (Myers) Hammersten. He was a Union Electrician for local IBEW 102 retiring in 2002. Raymond was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 739 in Hokendauqua. He is survived by his three children Michelle L. Arechiga (Rick) of Emmaus, Eugene W. Cope (Brenda) of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Karen Sawyer (Michael) of Easton. Five grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers Jim and Larry.
