Ralph H. Balliet, 80, of Sellersville died November 29, 2010 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Gail E. (Nice) Balliet. They were married 53 years on May 11, 2010. Born in Springtown, Pa he was the son of the late Edwin & Florence (Cawley) Balliet. He retired as a welder from the former Tubular Products in Souderton. Prior to that he worked for the former Bethlehem Steel. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Ralph was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sellerville. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Joanne Marie Steward and her husband Gale of Quakertown. A son James L. and his wife Debra of Perkasie. Two brothers Kenneth and his wife Ethel and Edwin all of Quakertown. Two sisters Mildred Frey of Easton and Irene Hrycko and her husband Andrew of Quakertown. Four grandchildren James and his wife Nicole, Bryan and his wife Elizabeth, Desiree Balliet, and Shawna Steward. He was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Helm. Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
