Philip D. Calabrette, Sr., 58 of Coopersburg died Friday, June 10, 2016 in St. Lukes Hospice house. He was the husband of Lynn M. (Kramer) Calabrette. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this past January. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late John and Anna (Hafler) Calabrette. He was a heavy equipment operator last employed by Highway Materials in Perkiomenville prior to that he was employed by Haines and Kibblehouse. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Springfield Church of the Brethren in Coopersburg. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Jaime Briggs and a son Emanuel OToole, Jr., a brother John G. (Deborah) and a sister Sharon Sandor (Anthony). Three grandchildren Justin, Joshua and Jacob and numerous nephews. He was predeceased by a son Philip, Jr. Services will be held on Monday June 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951. Calling hours will be held Sunday June 19th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Monday June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
