Pearl J. Landis, 82, of Allentown formerly of Lower Milford Township died May 7, 2013 in her home. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Landis. Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Earl & Johanna (Rehak) Kernechel. She retired from the former JG Furniture of Quakertown. Pearl was a member of St. John's UCC in Coopersburg. She is survived by ten children Karen Hartwig (Jack), Barbara Dawson (Jim), Paula Minihan (John), Joan Helverson (Kelly), Lori Helverson-Hersh, Cindy Degnan (Michael), Douglas Landis (Lori), Lisa McNeill (Jim), Libby Clements (Kirk), and Preston Landis (Tammy). A daughter in law Martha Helverson. A brother Calvin Kernechel (Barbara), two sisters Nancy Pearson (Jake), Joanne Weiss (Paul). Twenty grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Charles Lee Helverson, two brothers Earl, and Larry and a sister Agnes. Services will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
