Paul D. Afflerbach

Obituary Paul D. "Dutch" Afflerbach, Jr., 71 of Quakertown died Friday September 13, 2019 in his home. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Landis) Afflerbach. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last October. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Paul, Sr. and Loretta (Neiman) Afflerbach. He was last employed as a supervisor for Precision Tube in North Wales. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the John Rivers VFW Post #11322 in Quakertown. He was a lifetime member of the Quakertown YMCA and loved all sports especially Penn State Football. He also enjoyed coaching his children in Little League, Quakertown Midget Football and RASA. Dutch was also a member of Great Swamp Fish and Game and St. Johns Lutheran Church in Spinnerstown. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Lance (Kelly) of Palm, two daughters Michelle Steinbacher (Richard) of Catonsville, MD and Sheri Weidemoyer (Peter Quier) of Quakertown. Five grandchildren, Tori Weidemoyer (Shawn), Damon Afflerbach (Morgan), Bryan Weidemoyer (Filomena), Brea Afflerbach and Magda Steinbacher. Two great grandchildren, Ilena Clemons and Violette Weidemoyer. He was predeceased by a sister Carol Neubert. A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church 1565 Sleepy Hallow Rd. Spinnerstown PA 18968.
