Patricia Anne Rago

d. September 5, 2009

Patricia Anne Rago, Quakertown, formerly of Philadelphia, died September 5, 2009 at home in the company of her loving family. She was 56 years young. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Anne (Romano) Ailtmar and the late Martin Ailtmar. For more than twenty years as a registered nurse at Grandview Hospital, Pat worked tirelessly. Her patients witnessed a nurse in the most committed and caring sense of the word, always with a "patients first" attitude. She and her former husband Anthony lovingly raised twin daughters, Lainie and Tina, and a son, Anthony - beautiful people, just like their mom. Her children remained loving, and comforting, and strong to the end. As did her brother Marty, who was by her side through the countless doctor's visits, hospital stays, and chemo treatments. She adored her granddaughter - Gianna Marie Lorenz. Pat was an animal lover. Her boxers, Bella and Frankie, knew that best. Pat lived and loved her life with a smile from her heart that could be heard in her voice. She was selfless and funny and kind and beautiful in every way, a legacy that will live on in the wonderful family she leaves behind.
