Pamela Brehmer Snow ended her long battle with Multiple Sclerosis and died on Thursday May 13, 2010 at the age of 54. She was born on May 3, 1956 in Oak Park, Illinois, to Louis F. Brehmer and LaVerne Boltz Brehmer. She was raised along with her two sisters, Cynthia (Mrs. Robert S. Gooch) and Janette Brehmer, in Naperville Illinois. She was a 1974 graduate of Naperville Central High School and graduated in 1977 from the DuPage Horticultural School. She married Edward Louis Snow of Bennet, Nebraska, at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri on March 21, 1981. Pam was employed for many years as a horticulturist in Missouri, Hawaii, and Texas. She also worked retail in Missouri, Montana,and Virginia, before becoming disabled by her MS. She had a lifelong love of primates, nature, and her family. Pamela is survived by her husband, Edward L. Snow of Perkiomenville, PA; her two sisters, Janette Brehmer of Phoenix, AZ and Cynthia Gooch of Phoenix, AZ; her brothers-in-law, Robert S. Gooch of Phoenix, AZ, and Tony Snow of Bennet , NE; her two nephews, Daniel R. Gooch of Tempe, AZ, and Michael J. Gooch of Phoenix, AZ; her sister-in-law, Jennifer Snow of Bennet, NE; her in-laws, Emmett and Johnna Snow of Bennet, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis F. Brehmer and LaVerne B. Brehmer. The family will hold a memorial service at the Perkiomenville Mennonite Church, 1836 Gravel Pike, Perkiomenville, PA on May 19th at 4 PM. Cremation arrangements are in the care of C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, PA (www.crstrunk.com).
