O.J. "Mac" McClanahan, 62 of Richlandtown died Saturday November 26, 2005 in his home. He was the husband of Roberta R. (Schaffer) McClanahan. He was a truck driver for C.H. Briggs in Quakertown. Born in Varney, West Virginia he was the son of the late Clell and Celia (Whitt) McClanahan and the step son of the late Ruby McClanahan. He was U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was also a member of the Teamsters local 773 in Allentown and the Reading Teamsters. He was the 2004 Champion of the WFFL (Fantasy Football). In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters Dannette McClanahan, Rhonda Mitchell and Colleen Gahman and a son Edmond McClanahan. He was Pop to Anthony and Jonathan Mitchell and Matthew Gahman. He was also survived by a niece Iris Carter. He was predeceased by a brother Monroe and a sister Bonnie Tickle. Services will be held on Wednesday Nov. 30, at 11:30 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown Pa. 18951 (www.crstrunk.com) Call on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
